He completed two summer internships with HP, in-person in Boise, Idaho in 2019 and remotely from home in 2020. During the 2019 HP internship, Ethan was impressed by the weeklong interview process, the level of pay, and the adult supports in place. In 2020, both Ethan and HP were highlighted in the 100-year anniversary of the national Vocational Rehabilitation Program and served as panel members at the Annual U.S. Conference on disABILITY with the University of Scranton. Following his graduation from MTU, Ethan was offered a full-time remote job as a software developer with Dell Computers. His job helped him recently purchase a new Chevy Trax with many safety features that allow him to have social freedom.
